TERMS & CONDITIONS: PLEASE READ AND REVIEW THE TERMS THOROUGHLY PRIOR TO BIDDING. IF YOU HAVE NOT READ AND UNDERSTAND THESE TERMS, PLEASE DO NOT BID. BY BIDDING ON THIS AUCTION, BUYER AGREES TO ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS SET FORTH AND ENTERS INTO A CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT TO PURCHASE THE ITEMS(S) UNDER THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
GROUPED EXTENDED BIDDING / SOFT CLOSE
This auction utilizes a Grouped Extended Bidding (“Soft Close”) format. Certain items may be placed into bidding groups, meaning those items are linked together and will remain open and close together based on bidding activity. If a bid is placed on any item within a bidding group during the final extension period, the closing time for all items within that group will automatically extend by an additional period of time. Each additional bid placed on any item within the group during an extension period will continue to extend the closing time for the entire group until no further bids are received. The posted closing time is the earliest possible closing time and not a guaranteed closing time. This bidding method is designed to give all bidders a fair and equal opportunity to participate while preventing last-second bidding practices commonly referred to as “sniping.”
- Grouped Extended Bidding Time Increments
- During the first 30 minutes of extended bidding, all bid extensions will be 5 minutes.
- During the second 30 minutes of extended bidding, all bid extensions will be 3 minutes.
- During the third 30 minutes of extended bidding, all bid extensions will be 2 minutes.
- After the first 90 minutes of extended bidding, all bid extensions will be reduced to 1 minute and will continue in 1-minute increments until all items are sold.
- Example of Grouped Extended Bidding:
Items 101, 102, and 103 are grouped together and scheduled to close at 6:00 PM. If a bid is placed on Item 102 at 6:59 PM, all three items will automatically extend beyond 7:00 PM. If another bid is later placed on Item 101 during the extension period, all three items will extend again. If additional bidding continues into later extension periods, the extension times will reduce according to the posted bidding increment schedule until the auction reaches 1-minute extensions and finally closes when no additional bids are received.
Please ensure your phone number and email address are up to date and correct in your profile settings. There will be a 10% Buyers Premium added to each final bid to determine the final sales price.
