Buyer’s Premium, Payment Terms, & Sales Tax Buyer’s Premium: A 10% Buyer’s Premium will be added to the bid price to determine the final sales price. Buyer’s Premium Example: Bid Price, Plus 10% Buyer’s Premium, Plus Ky Sales Tax: 6% = Total Sales Price: *All winning bidders on vehicles will pay state tax when title is transferred.* EXAMPLE: Bid Price $100.00 + Buyers Premium $10.00 + Ky Sales Tax $6.60 =Total Sales Price $116.60 The successful Purchaser(s) will make payment in full at the close of the auction in the form of cash, cashier’s check, credit card, or money order. A 10% Buyer’s Premium will be added to the bid price to obtain the contract price. Sales tax of 6% will be charged on all applicable purchases. A 3.5% credit card fee from the service provider will be added to all credit card purchases. All open accounts will be settled by credit card on file within two days of the auction closing. Invoices of $2,500.00 or greater are not eligible for credit card payment (Cash or Cashier’s Check Only). Dealers buying for resale may be exempt from paying sales tax if the dealer provides their sale tax resale number and executes the sale tax exemption form.
